Container Loose (Free) Loading means loading cargo into a container without pallets, crates, or unitized packaging. The goods are placed directly inside the container one by one or in small packages and arranged manually to use the container space efficiently.
This loading method is commonly used when:
The cargo does not require palletization.
The shipper wants to maximize the container’s capacity.
The goods are packed in cartons, bags, or individual packages.
However, loose loading may require more careful stacking and securing to prevent cargo damage during transportation.
